NUHOPE

The Northern Utah HOPE  - Hold On Persuade Empower - Task Force of the WCHC has been in existence since August of 2007.  This Task Force has a wide variety of members representing hospitals, social service agencies, Survivors, students, and members of the public.  For more information on NUHOPE,  click here

4th Annual NUHOPE Suicide Awareness Walk

The walk will be held once again in conjunction with the Harvest Moon Festival.  It is September 24, 2011.  Please pre-register by completing the form below.  We will email specifics out prior to the event such as route, etc.  You do not have to pre-register, but it is strongly encouraged. 

The walk will take place on and around historic 25th street in Ogden.  Check-in and program will be on the west end of 25th near the stage.

Schedule for September 24:

• 9:00 - 9:45 - Check-in and pick up shirts and information
• 9:00 - 9:45 - On-site registration
• 10:00 - 11:00 - Presentations, Walk and Announcement of Silent Auction Winners (must be present at announcement to win bid)

 Additional Activities before/after the Walk:

• There will be a table set up before the walk for you to write in memory/in honor stickers for your shirt;
• There will be a donations table;
• There will be a Silent Auction where you can bid on items before the walk.  After the walk bid winners will be announced.  You must be present or the next bidder will be selected for the item.  A special THANK YOU to all who have donated items!

Please note:  The walk and your participation in it is free thanks to sponsorship by McKay Dee Foundation and donations of time, materials and other items from the community.  Donations are appreciated to help continue this effort, but are not expected nor mandatory.  THANKS!

NUHOPE WALK On-Line REGISTRATION

ON-LINE Registration is now closed to allow for preparation of registration worksheets. 
If you are planning on participating in the walk and haven't pre-registered, please come and go to the general registration line.  My apologies for any inconvenience.

• Location:  We will be set up towards the bottom of 25th Street near Wall Avenue.  Please note that 25th street is closed!  You can't miss us - we will be in Red shirts!
• 9 am - 9:45 ish - Come to the registration table to check in and pick up your shirts and some other items.  Take some time to bid on our silent auction items and fill in a sticker for walking in "Memory" or "Honor" of a friend or loved one.
  • If you have any friends or family who wish to come but have not pre-registered -- BRING THEM ALONG!  We will be accepting on-site registrations!
• 10 am Program and Walk
• Silent Auction:  Immediately following walk - AWARDING the silent auction items - Note: you must be present at the presentation to win your item!
