The mission of the Weber Coalition for a Healthy Community is to bring individuals and community resources together to create common goals, priorities and interventions that result in measurable improvement in the health of the community.

The membership of the group has had some changes over the years, however membership stems from:

• Two local hospitals
• Social Service Agencies
• Local Goverment
• Weber State University
• Non-Profit Agencies
• Citizen Volunteers
• Many more

SUICIDE AWARENESS WALK:

The Fourth Annual NUHOPE Suicide Awareness Walk is coming up soon - September 24, 2011 on Ogden's  Historic 25th Street.  This event is being hosted by the Northern Utah HOPE Task Force in partnership with McKay Dee Hospital Foundation and Harvest Moon.

The walk starts at 10 am, with check-in and on-site registration at 9 - 9:45.
