                                Weber Coalition Town Hall Meeting

Come and give your input on what health needs you see in the community and your recommendations for how they should be addressed!  Let your voice be heard.

The Weber Coalition for a Healthy Community will be holding a Town Hall meeting on April 5, 2012 from 9 am - 1 pm to hear your voice!  Light breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge.  The Town Hall meeting will be held at Weber Human Services, 26th Street in the auditorium on the 3rd floor. Please register below for the food count and so that you are included in the food count.  Please direct any questions to Kathie Robinson at krobinson@midtownchc.org.

The mission of the Weber Coalition for a Healthy Community is to bring individuals and community resources together to create common goals, priorities and interventions that result in measurable improvement in the health of the community.

The membership of the group has had some changes over the years, however membership stems from:

  • Two local hospitals
  • Social Service Agencies
  • Local Goverment
  • Weber State University
  • Non-Profit Agencies
  • Citizen Volunteers
  • Many more
SUICIDE AWARENESS WALK:

The Fifth Annual NUHOPE Suicide Awareness Walk is coming up soon - September 22, 2012 on Ogden's  Historic 25th Street.  This event is being hosted by the Northern Utah HOPE Task Force in partnership with McKay Dee Hospital Foundation and Harvest Moon.

The walk starts at 10 am, with check-in and on-site registration at 9 - 9:45.
